Can i have ppp, my wee boy doesn’t know his dad and was meant to meet him today to go play football but his dad turned up with his wife, i didn’t let my wee boy go because i think he should get to know his son before introducing his wife who i know absolutely nothing about not even her name, i only found out he had a wife when he turned up at my door and i asked who he was with, am i the 1 in the wrong for stopping it, i feel really bad for my son as he was so excited to finally get to know his dad he is only 4

As much as it was probably a shock, I would have let him go. If she’s his wife, he’s going to get to know her sooner or later. It’s not like a girlfriend of 2 weeks who will most probably not be a stable person in his life. But you’re his mum and so your decision is final and is up to you xx
No. I’d want to know the girl before my child goes anywhere near, I’d always make sure he was safe before anything so speak to them both and ask to meet them before anything with your son. I hope all works out for your little lad x
