Can I please have a pp this is going to be rather long but I really am hoping for some advice 😞, so, I have 2 kids (4 years and 6 month old) 4 yr old is from previous relationship and 6 month old is from relayoknship I’m in now, my partner and his family are amazing!! I can’t thank them enough, they have done so much for us! B4 I met my currant partner me and my 4 year old we’re constantly moving , not happy etc, now we are settled, have 6 month old together and our own home and just got engaged last weekend, he took my 4 yr old on as his own, we couldn’t be happier.problem is my mum!! Since I’ve settled down with my own family etc she always has something to say! Complains she don’t see the kids much but yet it’s us who have to travel 1-2 hours to visit, bitchs about Me to my sisters all the time, always puts my partner down for no reason saying he will never b my 4 year olds dad or saying he shouldn’t call him daddy (own dad never bothered with him) so I told her last weekend that we had gotten engaged.. Now a week later I still never got a congratulations from her!! She hasn’t spoke (ring or texted) me all week to ask how we are.. She’s totally ignoring me and also my 14 year old sister is ignoring me.. Never replys to me etc… I’m litrally at the end that I don’t want anything to do with her, was anyone else in this suiyuation? Do u think I should forgive her for not even saying congrats to me? I’ve always been in foster care all my life and was always miserable, but finally I’m so so happy, I’ve everything I’ve ever wanted, 2 beautiful kids and a loving fiance, she’s just never happy for me, should I just leave it and not bother to text her or ring either if she isn’t making an effort?? Xx
