Can you post pleae.
On Wednesday I had the marina coil fitted. I was put to sleep. Before I had it done I told the surgeon that I had been having irregular bleeding but she said it was probably hormonal and to let the coil do it’s job. I have endometriosis and I am still bleeding. I know you can bleed for a few days after having the coil fitted but I’m more concerned about the pain I am in. As I said I had it in Wednesday it now Saturday and I’m in agony. I keep getting what shooting pains thru my fairy lol. And what stabbing pains across the lower of belly. I have had the meds they sent me home with but it isn’t going. Is this normal? And what can I do to stop the pain?

  • Can you please reply to Stacey on my post please
I had to be put to sleep because I can’t even have a normal swab done with out screaming in pain. They offer to put people to sleep or sedate them because everyone’s pain threshold is different. I would prefer not to be judged at my decision. I am asking about the pain in now not how I had it put in. Each to their own.

  • Get checked out. When I had one fhe doctor tore my cervix and I ended up with an infection. Then it was still hurting me so kept going back. 3 months and a lot of codeine later doctor sent me for a scan and it had gone through my womb wall. Had to come straight out as soon as she got the results. X
