Could I get a private post please.

Me and my ex have a 14 month old together. We’ve been split for 7 months. He has him twice a week overnight and we still have a family day out now and again. I know we’ll never get back because to much has happened. I think he still hopes we will even though I’ve firmly told him. Anyway, a boy I know from years ago has got in touch recently and wants me to meet him for a drink tomorrow. He’s been asking all week but I’ve just brushed it off. I’d like to go and let my hair down a bit but can’t help but think of my ex. It feels like I’m cheating on him to even consider going on a “date” I know he probably wouldn’t take it well perhaps that’s why I feel like this although he’s slept with someone himself. Should I go? Is it normal to feel like this after a break up? Any advice would be great. Thanks 😊
