Could I get a private post please…
So I’m due my 2nd baby in 3 weeks time! This time I would like it to just be me and my partner at the hospital and once I’ve delivered our Princess, I want our parents to come up and bring our little boy, once our little boy has met his sister then everyone else can meet her.. Anyway, this has been fine, I’ve discussed it with my mum and she was a bit upset at first but she accepted my decision. My partner was supposed to of spoke to his mum too, but turns out he hasn’t and now she keeps mithering me, telling me not to forget to ring her when I’m in labour so she can come along etc.. So I spoke to my partner yesterday and said ‘look you need to speak to your mum and tell her my request’ anyway he seems to think it’s okay for her to come along and just wait in the waiting room. Now I know this won’t happen and she’ll end up in the room and I really don’t want that! But because he won’t tell his mum, I have to tell my mum she’s welcome to come along now too, and I’m really not happy about it… The main reason being, when in labour with my little boy his mum invited everyone to the hospital WHILST I WAS IN LABOUR!! And I had his Nanna constantly crying down my ear, his auntie id met once turned up with her 2 children! I just can’t cope. I really want it to be just me and him there. So I’m thinking I will just tell his mum myself, but how without upsetting her? It’s bad enough my own mother was upset when I told her 😞 x
