Could I have a post please, what can I do on my baby’s first birthday 2nd December? His dads at work couldn’t get a day off his sister is staying at her dads so won’t be back until afternoon and I don’t have any family his dads family might pop over I’m not sure, we’re going out with friends for his birthday Sunday but on his actual birthday the Saturday it’s just me and him at home 😞😞 I feel awful for him 😭💩

im in the same situation, my sons first birthday is on Thursday and my partner works away and is not home until friday evening and my eldest son is at school. we are having a get together on the Saturday evening for his birthday. we feel bad about not celebrating his birthday on the day but we have talked about it and realised that he is still too young to understand what a birthday is
Hes 1… trust me give the lad a few balloons and a cardboard box and some wrapping paper and he’ll have the time of his life lol kids that age dont know any better, I felt awful not being able to do anything with my daughter for her 1st birthday but she honestly had fun all day playing with the boxes of her toys and the wrapping paper
Go treat him to a McDonald’s every kid thinks it’s something special make sure you grab a balloon to lol, or get the pains and play dough out and make cookies? X
Go to a soft play or make an adventure at home make a tent have loads of fun make memories xx
Take him to a playzone, you can have some quality fun time 😊
Same day as my sons 1st birthday Take him to the ball pit he will love whatever you do xx
