Could i have a pp please i have a 23 month old girl sould i be concerned about her talking? I read online that at that age they should be saying at least 25 words she can say around that amount but only i can understand her? Shes not clear at all on most words she can say mummy daddy nanny all ok would you say i need to be concerned about her progress? Tia x

It might be worth having a hearing test done 🙂 my little guy at 12 months wasn’t saying anything so I he a test done and turns out he had a lot of fluid build up and couldn’t hear- as soon as we had this rectified he has start saying heaps!
It’s understandable that you can understand most of what she says and others can’t, you spend more time with her than anyone else 🙂 xx
my lb is 2 next thurs and cant say anything i have taken him to the hv who didnt seem at all concerned im still very worried i have 2 older children who were both talking very well by this age x
My child is 20 months and doesn’t say anything. She won’t speak. She understands but has No interest in copying anything!
