Could I have a pp please?
Is there anyone else here who has lost both their parents? I could do with some advice on how I can stop the grief I’m feeling!

My mum passed away at the end of last year and my father the year before. They both died of cancer and were still relatively young. I was pregnant with twins at the time of my dad’s death and I kept busy getting ready for their arrival and making sure my mum was ok so I didn’t grieve as I refused to accept it. Then my mum’s cancer came back and although she told me it was incurable, I always had hope until the time was to take her into the hospice.
I’ve been too busy to be able to have grieved properly ( pushing tears and thoughts away so the twins don’t get upset ) but the last few weeks they are all I can think about and the tears will not stop today!! I miss them so much especially my mum she was my best friend even if she annoyed the shit out of me 😂
I have no other family members I can talk to apart from my husband who only says the same thing “it’ll get better” but even he thinks I should be over it now. Don’t have any friends either so nobody to advise. Thank you x
