Could I have a ppp. I have been offered a sweep on Wednesday if I want it at first I was adamant no but now I’m thinking about it. The thing that put me off was I read an article that was going around on fb saying how dangerous they are to both mother and baby and can cause a lot of infections, also make the labour so much more painful and intense. This is my 2nd baby and I’m currently 37+4. I couldn’t have one with my 1st as she was too high right up until days before I gave birth at 41 weeks. Anyway what I’m asking is has anyone had a sweep and it actually work? Also has anyone had a sweep with one baby and go naturally with another and is it really more painful or as dangerous as I read or is it just another scaremongering tack tick. Thanks xx
