Could i have a ppp

I have a 5 week old son. Ever since hes been born he will only settle and sleep on my chest. I know its not safe and desperately want him to sleep in his crib, but he screams everytime i put him down.

His feeding is not great-he only has 3oz bottles and often can take 2 hours to finish each bottle. I should mention that he was born 9lb 12ozs and is a big boy.

He suffers badly with wind-often stiffening like a board with pain at times when its built up. Or getting hiccups. Iv tried infacol and dentinox colic drops-neither have worked. Im desperate for something to change-i have a 3 year old who i cant do anything with and i havent slept for more than 3 hours a night in total since he was born. Im exhusted. He also gags and randomly coughs when hes asleep on me.

I can only put him down long enough for a wee or to wash his bottle before hes screaming to be picked up again.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I dont want to use the cry out method-at times iv had to leave him just to get dressed or whatever and he doesnt settle, only gets more and more upset.

I know hes only little and he probably just wants his mummy, but i really cant continue like this. Please no bashing-my husband works long hours and helps me all through the night also so i cant ask any more from him.

Iv spoken to health visitor and they say to jus keep going with colic drops 😕 i had him weighed yesterday and although he has gained weight, he has dropped a centile.
