Could I have a ppp

I’m just wanting some advise. Those who have step children , or children that go to their dad’s- what sort of routine/secdule to have in place? Do you have set days/times or just free ride it?

The reason I ask is because I have a child who goes to their dad every other weekend, all weekend, picked up from school on Friday and dropped off 6pm on the Sunday which works really well for us.

My partner has a child where he will come either on Thursday /Fri or fri/ Saturday every week depending on his shift. Even though the days are set in place okish, there is no times. He can come from anything from 8am in the morning to 6pm at night which means I’m never able to plan anything for our own family. I don’t want to raise the issue with my partner if I’m just irrational about this and there is no issue. I do feel like I am very much sceduling my life around his sons arrangements week by week and it’s dependant on whether his mum is busy with their family or not
