Could i have a private post please?

Just got back from work and my mum who picks up my little girl, has just turned 5, the school nurse said shes very overweight, ive got her an appointment for a second opinion because my child has always been a big girl since she was born, shes been on the right line all this time (in the red book) i havent seen her HV since she was 2 , im devastated because shes such a active happy child and eats healthy, dont get me wrong (who doesnt give their child sweets/chocolate/crisps as a treat or the odd take away or macdonalds) macdonalds or take away is like a once a month thing and sweets etc is like a once a week thing (if shes good) Am i wrong to get a second opinion as shes only just started a new school, who actually know nothing about her!
P. S big baby and weighed 9lbs 7oz.
