Could I possibly have a PP? I’m so confused. I have a baby who isn’t very old, the father left when she was born. Long story short he was wanting her by himself from the day she was born, he then started getting aggressive aswell as his family. I was put in contact with the domestic abuse helpline who then told me to contact the police.. I had no idea that for pretty much the whole relationship I was being emotionally abused and controlled, I feel so stupid for being so oblivious, the police came to speak to me and wrote everything down and have filed everything on record and told me about Claire Law for the future to prevent this from happening again, it was never physical just controlling, name calling, comments *even about our child before birth and afterwards*. Anyway i’m no longer allowed to be near him on my own neither is my child (advise given by police), hes threatened me with court to get unsupervised access to our child but i’m really worried about the court agreeing due to the ongoing problems and also other things regarding what his family have done in the past in a similar situation. I dont really know what I want from this post, I just strongly feel like I dont want there to be unsupervised contacts until shes at least 1-2 years old due to everything thats happened 😞
