Fostering advice
My parents had a meeting about fostering but they was a little confused due to the rules around looking after a child they was told if say a 5 year old had a poorly tummy and poohed itself then you are not allowed to help them, my parents felt like helping would be a very normal thing to do, even down to a cuddle if the child is crying you are not allowed a cuddle, my parents feel like this could seem very cold towards a child they want to give a loving home to. Has the lady over told the rules or is this the rules?

Its sound awful but its rules and regulations now in schools and nursurys its meant to be the same, but my daughter goes to nursury and her key workers cuddle her because she affectionate and they know I would 100% allow it x
I would be questioning this tbh if we did these things and social services came round we would be done for neglect but then it may be because of what children have been threw and your parents could be harmless changing them after a accident or giving them a cuddle and the child could see this very differently to your parents phone up and ask for a meeting you can also go in I think

That is ridiculous! Not only do they feel unwanted anyway but they go to a foster home to get treated the same. I would still show them love regardless! Can’t just leave them in their own poo! X
See to me leaving a 5 year old in soiled pants is abuse! How can a child clean themselves up and change there clothes on there own?? Makes no sense 🤔 also if a child is upset or has a bad dream there supposed to be left to cry it out?? Surely that can’t be correct 😐
This isn’t true I have family that foster and they bath them cuddle them and help them with the toilet ect they treat them as another human being should be treated I’d enquire about this and make a complaint xxxx
The lady has over reacted to the rules hun but it sound like to that she dose not know what she is doing
