Hello again, can I have a private post please.

So I’ve been invited out for a family members birthday in the beginning of december, my partner has just gone off on one at me because I wouldn’t take my son off him and put him in his bouncy chair, because he is quite capable of.doing it himself, he does nothing at all apart from hold the baby every now and then, so I stood my ground.

Anyway back to the reason for this post, that was the reason he started to have a go at me, he’s trying to make me feel very guilty about leaving my two children for a few hours, saying that basically its wrong for me to have a break, he doesn’t get a break, he grafts in the week and then its family time at the weekend and that a break is when our parents have the children. Which is very rarely (Because all he thinks I do is sit on my arse with a 17 week old and nearly 3 year old). Every time he gets offered to go out he turns it down, but I dont see how that’s my fault.
I told him I’m going out wether he likes it or not, apparently I just dont get it.

Am I being selfish for having a bit of me time once in a bluemoon if that?

I have hardly any friends so its not like I go out every weekend with friends either 😞.
