Hello can I get a Ppp?
Sorry it’s a long one.

I’ve just moved into a flat with my 5 month old. I met the neighbours above me, and they seem nice, but not really ones you’d want to get on the wrong side of. 🤔
Anyway, they have laminate flooring, so obviously quite heavy footfall, but one of them wears heels most days and will be in and out of the flat. We have very heavy doors that close on their own. I’ve only been here a couple of weeks, but they’ve had a few parties in that time.
I try to avoid conflict and confrontation, so I don’t want to address it, but they quite often wake my child, especially through the day when they’re in and out. They have an older child too, so when my 5 month old goes down at 7, the older child is still running round and making noise, in and out until about 10pm and has also woken my child.

I know you expect noise in flats, I’ve lived in two flats previously, but that was before I was ever even pregnant.
I was always very considerate of neighbours with kids.
I don’t know if maybe these ladies just haven’t thought about it? Or am I just overreacting and there’s actually nothing wrong here?
I don’t want to approach them if they’re doing nothing wrong?

Has anyone ever been in this situation? Or what would you guys do?
