My sons dad has never been consistent in his life but he’s been seeing him now for about 4/5 months solid and things were going great. He’s now not seen him for a month and when I’ve asked he’s saying he’s in a bad place etc. He’s drinking and worse. Lost his job and says he’s in a bad place and needs to sort himself out before he can see our son. I don’t know whether I should be angry or not? Part of me feels yes he is in a bad place and maybe it’s best our son isn’t there. Then the other half of me thinks well I’m a working single mum and when I’m having a bad day or time I can’t just stop being a parent. But his circumstances are more extreme than that. What does anyone else think? I’ve said I hope he’s better soon and left it at that even though I’m quite annoyed he’s just stopped seeing our son. Who is almost 22 months I should add. Thanks in advance xx
