Hello could I have a private post please?
Basically at my 20 week scan the midwife found something different about the babies heart that she weren’t sure of so she sent me to Liverpool women’s to see a heart specialist to have a look at her heart in more detail a few weeks later, at the scan the consultant found the issue was right aortic arch, sat down and explained that it’s nothing at all to worry about basically just one of her arterys are on the wrong side but still functions exactly the same, he found no other problems at the scan and has left me to carry on with my pregnancy as usual! He said it’s a very very rare condition but there are more then likely adults walking around with the condition completely in aware as it’s a fairly new part of the heart they’ve started looking at he left it with me as basically being right handed or left handed, it doesn’t really matter! Now I’m getting nearer to my due date I’ve got questions I want answers to like how long was your Hospital stay after birth? What happened when baby was born, what tests were done, what was different? So I’m just wondering if anyone at all has experienced this and could give me as much information as possible because even though I’ve been reassured it’s nothing to worry about it’s all I’m doing lately! Thanks xx
