Hello could I please have a pp
Hi everyone hut looking for some advice please. I am 24 years old and have 2 children. I have seen the nurse and I am due back next week for swabs but I have a whole week left of panicking.
For the last 4-5 months I have been having irregular bleeding, the longest I have bled for is 4 weeks and it was constant, and the shortest literally a day. This can happen 3 or 4 times a month. It has been heavy and with clots (none bigger than a 50p though) I have no pain other than the usual ‘period cramps’ and the occasional lower, dull back pain. I am on contraception called cerelle (pill) I take it everyday at same time without a break so it’s not my periods. I have been on it for over a year and never experienced this until 4-5 months ago. I did pt the irregular bleeding down to a side effect of the pill though. I saw the nurse yesterday due to waking up in the morning covered in blood and it being all over the bed. She has asked me to go back next week for swabs and cervix examination, then she’ll decided whether I will need an ultrasound followed by a pelvic examination too. I am NOT pregnant as a test was done by nurse and was negative. Has anyone else been through this? What was the outcome? I’m so scared. I just don’t know what to make of it. It seems like such a lot of blood and the clots do scare me.
