Hello happy new near! Can I have a private post please. I had a baby 9 months ago and went on the depo injection when I was 3 months postpartum. I thought it was the best option as I was told not to get pregnant for 12 months and didn’t want a coil due to a traumatic birth. Iv heard a lot of stories about people not being able to get pregnant for years after they came off the depo? Has anyone came off it and been able to get pregnant pretty soon? Freaking out a bit as I don’t want a big age gap and found it hard to conceive the first time. Thanks ladies x

I had been on depo for 6 years and was told that it could take a year to fall pregnant.. 6 weeks after coming off I found out I was pregnant
1st time took me 2 year 2nd time got pregnant straight away I think it all depends on ur body everyone is different xx
Depo causes bone decay it’s not been given in Ireland anymore xx took me a year and a half xx
People fall pregnant whilst on it so I wouldn’t say it takes years or dosent, everyone is different xx
It took me nearly a year, then I had a miscarriage! I think it was nearly 2 years in the end and now nearly 6 months pregnant x
I came off it and was pregnant within a month 🙈
6 years after coming off it here Im afraid 😕
Took me 5 years after coming off the depo to get my little girl, who is now 9 months
i got pregnant the same month of trying after my depo ran out x
Took us 2 months to fall after i came off the depo lol x
Took me nearly a year and a half x
