I’m after some advice really on my relationship please if anyone can help,
My partner I think is quite controlling but I’m not sure if I’m imagining he is and really he isn’t ? I don’t no if their behaviour is normal or not ? I don’t no where to start really but I’m just Guna go ahead and jot it down as it pops into my head, my partner belittles me a lot, always telling me I’m crap and shit at everything and I’m weak and not strong, yesterday he held my head firmly and was rocking my head side to side I asked him to get off and be looked into my eyes and said ‘I control you, I am the boss of you, you do everything I say’ he says all this in front of his mates too although I’m pretty sure they didn’t hear what he said, I can never tell if he is joking about or being deadly serious, it’s not the first time he has told me he is the boss and that he contoles me, he belittles me often and is often also Infront of our friends, I found out yesterday he has been commenting on how he’d fuck my mates mum ect, but rarely comments on how I look ect, he always makes me feel like I’m weak and not good enough, He is always demanding me to get him a drink or something to eat or to wash his clothes ect we have a son together and I feel like everything I do with our son is never good enough either, I have very little confidence and my self esteem is suffering, I just want to feel good enough and pretty for him, we hardly go anywhere together, I just don’t no what to say or do, I love this man with all my heart and it’s killing me forever not feeling good enough in everything I do, he is at work today and I have text to tell him I want to talk to him later about what he said to me yesterday because I honestly can’t tell if he is serious or joking, sorry for going on I’m just wondering if anyone else has been in a relationship like this and what did you do ? When it’s good it’s amazing and I love him with all my heart I just want it to work out xx
