Hello, is there anything I can do with regards to my sons father paying contribution to my son? We have no direct contact due to him not being allowed anywhere near me. I’m unsure whether he has a permanent job as last I knew he was in and out of work, he doesn’t pay me a thing and wondered if there was anything I could do to get some sort of help? Do I need to know what he works to claim child maintenance ? Thanks

No. It is all changing over to child maintenance service now. You pay £20 to start the claim and they do the rest for. It took 10months for and that was with giving them all info on him in the army. But it is all back dated to the date you made the claim. x
No they will get it from his national insurance number and tax code
All you need is a name and last known address and they will find him
