Long story short I did put in a complaint at work because someone made me uncomfortable we where on a night shift and he touched me multiple times and hinted he wanted to uno but not in so many words I ended up getting up and moving out the way…
I left it a few days before I told anyone at work because I was scared it was mu fault because I didn’t say stop or I don’t like you touching me etc (I’m not good with that sort of thing)
Anyway I told work and they said I should have said it right away, ring etc
I shouldn’t feel uncomfortable but I’m scared I don’t want to lose this job and i do wish I didn’t say anything, I feel embarrassed as well and keep asking myself what I did to make that person think that was ok I also hate myself for not saying I don’t want him to touch me.
Question is what happens now, what should I expect will I have to have a meeting with that person etc

You need to speak with your HR department and file a grievance procedure complaint it should be in your staff hand book as that is mandatory to have.
You need to write a statement of everything that happened and how it’s made you feel ect don’t leave any details out.
You also need to state you feel uncomfortable with what’s happened and scared which is why you waited because you were not sure what to do and request you do not work with that person again.
No matter what he was thinking he has no right to touch you in any way what’s so ever you did right moving away but in the work place that is unprofessional.
An investigation should be started and disciplinary action should be taken against him whether that be a formal warning written warning depending on how your company works if you have any problems or need some help I work in management myself and work alongside HR a lot and I’ve done many investigations and dealt with this before regarding my staff feel free to pop me a message if your stuck Hun may take me a bit to reply gotta get bubba to bed and dinner on but I’m more than happy to help.
You should have a meeting separate to this person, not together!
