Hey I’m looking for a private post for some advice. My daughter is 2 years old.. me and her dad split in November last year after him being there every day to just twice a week, he now lives away with his new girlfriend. I’ve requested my daughter not to be around his girlfriend but on a matter of occasions he’s done so anyway. He was doing well with contact and maintenance money at the start but now I’m lucky if he see’s her every 2 weeks. She turned 2 not too long ago, he had her the weekend before she turned 2, gave her back 2 days before her birthday, called on her birthday to say happy birthday. He didn’t even buy her as much as a card. The last time she spoke to him was on her birthday, the last time she seen him was 4 weeks ago. I’ve tried so hard to get in contact with him but he doesn’t want his girlfriend to know I’ve got his number. I’m not sure if I should cut the contact completely since he’s not bothered at all or still let my daughter cry for him and be told “daddy’s working he’ll see you when he’s got time”. She’s really not a stupid 2 year old she knows her surroundings and everything that goes on ☹️☹️
