Hey sorry me again can I have a post please.

As a mum you protect your child from any thing and shelter them from all the bad things but you can’t hide them from everything.
I was with my son’s dad for 4 and half years he was abusive towards me and no matter how hard I tryed he still saw things and hurd things no child should see or hear. I finaly plucked up the courage to leave him and move out but even after well over a year I still get flash backs from all the bad things he ever did to me stuff he has said to me. It still affects me 😕 My son is 4 now and he remembers sometimes he comes out with things and asks me questions I don’t know how to answer. I’m starting to worry that it’s affecting his behaviour and his emotions
I don’t know what I should do am sat beating myself up about it all :,(
Anyone give me some form of advise please
