Hi all, my 9 month old has had runny nappies the the last few days and quits a few times a day, she’s happy and not out of character, she has a top tooth about to cut so this isn’t helping. Is the heat a factor in the runny nappies??

It’s perfectly normal for babies to get runny tummies while teething. If you’re concerned about how long they’ve had it then call your surgery and ask for a phone consultation. If they’re ok in themselves I don’t think anything apart from the teething is wrong X
Teething can cause a runny nappy for some children.
Keep her hydrated and phone your doctors and ask for a phone triage appointment, to see if they are concerned about the length of time. They may wish to see her to check if she’s dehydrated.

Could be a combination of teeth and heat. If she’s happy and taking fluid to keep hydrated she should be fine. If she gets larthagic, becomes irritable or stops drinking as much go to the doctor’s
