Hi can i get a private post please, so i have been with my partner just over 6 years we have a 4 year old and got engaged this year.Recently he has drifted apart from his family as something kicked off between him and his mum. But he has since got in touch with some family he hasn’t spoken to years and his real dad who he hasn’t seen for over 20 years and seems to be having a good relationship with them whilst gradually building a relationship back up with his mum and brothers side of his family. Now my thing is i think i might be falling out of love with him and feel a part of me may be staying with him just because of our son and him not having any where to go, he is very moody, he doesn’t ever get up in a morning he will have a week where he gets up with me and our son he will only ever get up if he is working early but if he isn’t working until later on in the day he will just stay in bed, he falls asleep all the time on the sofa, he has no drive and no ambition and i know this may sound silly but he does not stop talking and it grates on me some times especially after iv’e had a hard day at work and i just want to chill out and watch TV after our son is in bed, he is 30 and he really doesn’t act like he is, if he has a bad day at work he will come home and moan about not wanting to work there and all this and that, now it may seem like i am just a moaning partner, but i have been with him now 6 years, he had nothing when i met him we now have a lovely house, a car and a beautiful son,witch i have built for us, we both work but we live week to week scraping by, we have never had a holiday abroad, he pays the rent on the house and i pay all the other bills he has bought our son 2 Christmas presents, 1 pair of trainers and 2 tracksuits in his life i provide for our son our house and me, now don’t get me wrong he doesn’t really have any money left each month for him self after paying the rent but he always has the opportunity to pick up more shifts at work but like i say he has no drive so very rarely does this. i dont know what i’m looking for from this post i guess i just need to have a rant as i have no one else to talk to.
