Hi can I get a private post please;
How can I stop my 10month old from hitting? He’s awful he will go for anyone, no matter what age they are. He chooses little children/babies mostly he will spot them when out at the park or soft play and that’s it he just constantly wants to wack them or pull them about. He has an older brother who he hits all the time too, but his older brother never ever hits him back he understands not to hit back. So I really don’t know where it’s come from? I know my eldest was awful with hitting other children but wasn’t until he was about 18 months, and lasted until he was about 3. Ive tried telling him no in sturn voice, moving him away from places he’s playing for hitting, practising “King hands” (stroking instead of hitting), taking toys of him which he is hitting other kids with?! What else can I do?!?! I can’t go anywhere with him without him trying to attack another child and he just finds it hilarious!! I follow his every step to make sure no child gets hurt.
