Hi can I have a post please,
Can you get food poisoning from out of date sweets? Iv googled but nothing’s really coming up.. I bought my 4year old some sweets earlier on, he was eating them fine then I noticed on the bottom it said ‘best before end of date April 2017’ so I took them off him and planning to go back to the shop tomorrow with them. Since then he’s had bad tummy ache, diarrhoea and sweating and shaking.. I’m thinking of calling NHS direct, or letting him sleep it off (he’s asleep now) but I’m not quite sure if out of date sweets can give you food poisoning?
