Hi can I have a post please?
I recently split with my sons dad due to him cheating. My boy is 5. The problem is I just don’t know what to do about his behaviour since we split. His dad has always been a bit of a waste of space anyway, it was always just me and my boy, dad would never come on days out with us etc or do much with him its always been me. We’re at my mums for Xmas and my mum says my son speaks to me terribly, which he does at the moment, hitting me too etc. I think its because of his dad leaving even though he is still seeing him and I feel like its not fair me getting the brunt of it all. How do I get him to adjust better, punish his behaviour towards me without coming across a horrible mum? I dont know how to handle this situation, I am so out of my depth. Thanks
