Hi can i have a post please
My two sons are 8 and 7. They keep wanting to go out to play with their friends. The thing is i am petrified that something may happen to them so i dont leave them out of my sight. When they do go out to play on the street i stand on my door step for hours just waching them. My boys call me mean for not letting them go on their own but when i explain i dont want anything bad happening to them they just say its not fair. i love my sons more than anything and i want them to enjoy their freedom but i cant bring myself to let them out on their own. Anyone got any advice? no bashing please

I hope i never have to let my kids out lol dreading the day anything can happen my boyfriend tells me to just let them out they only 5 and 6 lol if u live in a quiet street then all fine bt busy i wudnt x
I don’t let my 9 year old out alone.. too young and just not happening yet. Anything could happen and I would never forgive myself x
I’ve only just started letting my boys down to the park in the last year or two they are almost 13 and 11 and they always go together so I don’t think your being mean at all x
