Hi can I have a ppp, I gave birth to my baby at the start of August, 3 weeks after birth I had a heavish period for around 8 days which was strange as my periods used to only be 2-3 days long. I was put on tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding and 2 days later my period stopped. My next period was awful, I had stomach pains that felt like I was being stabbed and the only way to relieve the pain was to have a boiling hot water bottle which in turn burnt my stomach. I was sent to a gynaecologist last weds as I was having clots bigger than a 50p and was again put back on tranexamic acid, mefenamic acid and tramadol , it’s been 12 days since my period started and it’s still as heavy and painful as day one.. has anyone else experienced this after giving birth.. anything I can do to help the pain etc? X
