Hi can I have a ppp. I’m 34 weeks and been for a scan today and baby is breech with legs extended. Got to go back in 2 weeks for another scan. If baby is still breech I will be offered a ECV (turning of baby) or elective c section. Has anybody’s babies turned in 2 weeks? Have you had a ECV? Was it successful or not. Just after some advice of mummies that have been through it. Thank you

  • My first baby was extended breach. They tried to turn her but it was horrendous. Never felt anything like it!! It put too much stress on her and she went into distress. 30 minutes later I was rushed into an emergency c section xx

  • My little girl was extended breech, I had a ecv which was unsuccessful. In the end it was planned for me to have a c section for the 17th February at 39+1 but she decided to come on her own accord on the 14th.
Not going to lie the ecv blinking hurt! They ended up giving me daily monitoring to make sure she was doing okay til they could deliver her.

  • Google prenatal yoga n they give u moves to try to turn baby naturally or google yoga to turn a breech baby n it will bring up videos. Just be careful doing it n maybe ask ur midwife first. I kno someone that done it n it worked. X

  • Both my girls were feet first breech. Attempted ecv with first and was unsuccessful and absolute agony, wouldn’t do ecv with 2nd as I had a previous c.section scar. Its like the most intense Chinese burn type feeling, sorry can’t think of another way to describe it! x
