Hi can I have a ppp? My lg is 9 month nearly 10 and I’m struggling to get a good enough meal plan in place for her, at the moment she has 6oz in a morning then porridge then another 6oz bottle when she wakes from a nap, then normally a jar and a pud for tea then another 6oz before bed and snacks in between all these, I know I need to start giving her a proper lunch and some more fruit veg and fresh foods but am struggling with where to begin? Please no bashing as first time mummy just need some honest advice! Tia x

  • Buy a blender..making spaghetti Bol do an extra portion and blend shepherds pie etc boil and purée veg and fruit, jars are a good for out and about or just for “just in case” but I would highly reccomend making your own food so much cheaper and nutritious for them xx

  • My 10 months food routine is:
7am- 8oz bottle. 10am- breakfast ( normally Weetabix with a yoghurt) 12.30- lunch ( normally a main meal suchs as: Spag bol, tomato pasta, le til bake etc. I do normally home make them, but sometimes also use jars if I have run out of food or im out. 3pm- 6oz bottle. 5.30- tea ( I tend to give finger food for tea. Sometimes omelette with homemade chips. Or maybe a cheese sandwich. I always give some fruit for pudding as well. I cut up strawberries, banana and raspberry normally). 7.30- 8oz bottle

  • I buy veg like carrots broccoli etc ,cook them then freeze in individual portions, and do same with all our meals homemade chicken or steak pie, lasagne, casserole etc then freeze in small portions for our 9 month old so we just grab it out the freezer in the morning
    Quick and easy

  • I use to boil loads of peeled apples down till soft and blend and use icecubr trays to freeze for later so it’s easier to take out only what you need, I done this with veg packed meals as well like butternut squash, sweet potatoes, courgette and other veggies blended, hope this helps 🙂

  • Look up baby led weaning. …she can have everything you eat with the exception of honey until 1 yr ….teeth or not they will chew with their gums ….
