Hi can I have a PPP…
So i was with my partner for 9years with more bad than good moments always arguing about something as he’s so secretive loves to drink etc baring in mind I’ve always said if the relationship wasn’t what he wanted to just end it and remain friends…. Anyway he didn’t want that so after years of putting up with it all I left him October. We have 2 kids together. He’s been nothing but useless.
Since i had my daughter in 2013,he’s done nothing but disappear for weeks even months on end then comes back same thing to the point my daughter now says I’m her mummy and daddy for some reason. Ive never stopped him from seeing these kids at all whenever he’s wanted to come over I’ve always welcomed him along with suggesting family trips out as I refuse to let him have them alone 1. Cos he’s never had time for them so I’m now even doubting that he even loves them, as he has no interest 2. I stopped contact with his family seeing them 2014 as there alcoholics and favour his other son previous relationship over mine when clearly they should been treated the same(never had time for my daughter anyway even before my son). last year after having my son I contacted the grandmother if that’s what you call it to come meet my son she ignored that message after reading it never heard from her again. Anyway the father has now disappeared again on my kids. I’ve tried so hard to basically beg for him to play daddy to my children as i missed out on that ‘father figure’ wanted my kids to have more..but am I kidding myself. Do i just Give up and walk away. I’ve been thinking bout giving him an ultimatum to either visit them at least once a week or don’t bother at all as I’ve had enough(as he’s quite happy to visit 1ce a month if there lucky). My daughter is picking up from it all she’s asking me constantly if I love her. 2years ago he disappeared for 3months I then had an upset little girl the day he was due to come visit I told her she asked me then if daddy loves her… Then when he came over she then said to him my name’s **** like he had forgotten her that broke my heart I’m now sick of going round in circles hurting my kids for someone who clearly isn’t worth it.
