Hi can i have a ppp?

This sounds so trivial and I know it is but just looking for some advice. Me and my partner been together 13 months, he has no children I have 3. He lives with us and does everything for us, I never ask him to babysit but he always insists as he enjoys spending time with the kids. He has a nephew whom he had maybe one afternoon a week before I met him. We include his nephew in alot of our days out etc but he has a new job and he literally goes work home showered and into bed so not seeing his nephew as much and isnt on hand for babysitting all the time. Today he got out hosp after a few days in for a bad tummy and within two hours he was asked to babysit at wkend to which he replied no and one word borrowed another and he was told by his sister hes too busy running after kids that arent his own to care for nephew. I know it sounds so silly but its really upset me as its nothing like that at all, my partner sees us as a team and if im working hes first to say kids are with me, he accepts im a package. I just feel im getting blamed for him not being anle to babysit but its not that at all. I wonder if i should message his sister and explain shes got it wrong? Would anyone else feel upset at this?
