Hi can I have a ppp?
I am 23 weeks pregnant with my third baby. We were not expecting to have another one as we were using contraception. I am absolutely over the moon to be having my third and am so excited. My husband on the other hand was devastated – he is worried about being able to afford another one and how 2 kids will have to share, buying a bigger car etc. He originally wanted me to have an abortion.
I told him I wouldn’t and that I was having it and we had to agree to disagree. He has since been trying to be ‘ok with it’ in his words. We will have a couple of weeks where we are fine and then all of a sudden he will be in a permanent mood about it and says he’s been pretending to be ok for the past few months.
I have tried to be patient as I know he’s adjusting but I am concerned that it has been months since we have found out and he is still doing this. I’m worried that he is still going to feel like this when baby arrives 😢 I don’t know what I’m asking really, I have tried he softly approach and tried the hard approach on him. Has anyone been on this situation? Do they have a change of heart when baby actually comes? Thanks x
