Hi can I have a ppp
I need a bit of advice on how to cope with my partners behaviours and find out if it’s normal..
I have a 18 month old and a week old(today!! Where has that gone!!) Me and my partner have been absolutely fine , little bickers but nothing more than what would happen before our boy was born. We’ve never argued around our daughter and I think he’s probably raised his voice at her once in the whole of her life.
This morning, when she woke at 7, my daughter started banging on her bedroom door(so we would open it and get her) I left her for all of ten minutes as I was feeding the baby and she wasn’t crying or upset at all jusr chatting to herself. Before I had chance to go and get her, my partner who was sleeping next to me, shot up, ran in and shouted at her, and I mean reallt shouted at her for banging on her door, she was shocked and scared because she’s never seen her daddy like this before and she often bangs on her door in the mornings. I immediately rushed in and comforted her as the way I saw it was, she’s just woken up and was just letting us know she was awake, I said to him, not to shout at her like that when she’s not acted wrong and that he shouldn’t be making her cry like that anyway and he literally started screaming and swearing at me infront od her, shouted right in my face then stormed out. He’s not ever done this before. Have I acted in the wrong? What shall I do?
