Hi, can I have a ppp

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and have thread worms. I’ve been to doctors and been given the treatment. She said it was okay to take it after first trimester but Google is saying it is not safe to take at any stage of pregnancy.
Has anyone else had the treatment for thread worms while pregnant and baby been totally okay?
