Hi can I have a ppp

Just wondering if anyone can offer me any advice please
I have an 11 year old boy soon to be 12 and he’s put on just under 4 stone since xmas. He’s very active and trains for football 4 nights a week and plays at the weekends. He also goes to the local gym with friends.
We do eat healthy as a family and I’m monteri g what snacks he eats.
My question is what can I do ? Do I take him to the gp surgery?
