Hi can I have a private post please, does anyone have the implanting implant and suffer anxiety because of it? This is my second one & the first one worked wonders I had no side affects but since having my second one after my son I’ve been suffering the worst panick attacks that have resulted in trips to the hospital, I dread waking up, I dread going to sleep it’s ruining my life .. I’ve been to doctors and they’ve gave me tablets but just wanted to know if the implant could be a cause. Thankyou

Yes, it can cause anxiety, I read up on it a while ago after seeing LOADS of comments on a status with people saying they believe the implant made them anxious, tho the doctor told me it doesn’t, I said it does and she researched the side effects and anxiety WAS on there! I’d have it out if I was you, the injection worked well for me x
I did, well not sure if the implant was causing the problems but I eventually had it removed. It’s not healthy to not have a period. I like knowing when I’m due on and knowing if I’m feeling a little funny it’s probably because it’s the week before my periods. With the implant I didn’t know if I was coming or going x
I had anixity after my second inplant nver thought of it new it can cause low moods/depression
