Hi Can I have a private post please. Im 35+5 with my first baby. Everyone keeps going on about how I dont have much longer to go and how excited I must be for baby’s arrival etc But I dont feel excited at all, if anything Im kind of dreading the baby’s birth. And not because im scared of the labour. I just dont really have strong feelings towards the baby. Has any of you girls felt like this? Ive mentioned it to a few people and they just tell me when baby arrivals and I hold her I’ll fall in love with her. But what if I dont. This pregnancy has been so rough medically and emotionally. No one understands what im trying to say and midwives just make me feel stupid and assume I should know everything. I dont know what I want out of this post. I guess im just feeling very out of my depth as I have no idea what the hell Im going to do with a baby. 😞
