Hi can i have a private post please. Im in a bit of a difficult situation. I have 1 child already he has his fathers surname. Weve always been on and off nothing ever stable enough to settle down properly. Ive always claimed tax credits as i still have been technically a single mother, he doesnt live with me, pay anything in my house or has anything to do with my house but ive fell pregnant with his second child. I found out quite late and it was un planned. He wants this child to have his surname as well but im scared if i went to tax credits because i have two children with the same surname they wont give me it or start to question my circumstances. Has anyone been in something similar or do you think they wouldnt say anything?
