Hi can i have a private post please.
My younger sister is 10 nearly 11, but she is constantly tantruming like a toddler over little things. My mother isn’t well and is struggling to cope with her and i work full time so its hard to be there to help when its needed. We have been to the doctors many of times about my sisters behaviour and we are waiting for a referral to a specialist and the school has her on play therapy but she only seems to be getting worse. We’re pulling our hair out trying to find ways to calm her down and avoid these confrontations all together but nothing seems to be working. She doesnt react to being grounded or having devices taken away from her. But if we take her favourite teddy away she’ll scream the house down as if shes being hurt. Im so scared and worries that the neighbours are going to call ss thinking that were hurting her because she reacts so badly. We just dont know what to do anymore and its tearing our family apart. Any advice would be very appreciated
