Hi can I have a private post please? Sorry for the long message. I’ve been with my partner for two years, he’s 7 years older than me and has a daughter (she’s 6) from a previous relationship. His little one has been having some behavioural problems at the moment and her mum can’t cope with it, and tries to say we don’t help etc when I always leave work early to pick her up to help out etc. We both adore her dearly, but due to her acting up, her mum is adding a lot of pressure into her which isn’t helping. So her mum and little one are both getting really hard work for one another. Cut a long story short, I’ve just found out I am pregnant with my partner and I know if I tell little lady’s mum she’ll go crazy and say it’s unfair as little lady is having issues and needs our full attention etc, I just don’t know what to do😭 I love my step daughter with all my heart and care for her mum too, and want to help as much as I can but I also want to be happy that I am pregnant I don’t know whether to tell her, to wait or what. I just don’t know what to do as I don’t want my step daughter to feel as if she’ll be pushed out or her behaviour get worse due to having a new sibling I just want to make everyone happy as I care about everyone involved and try my best being only 19 (20 soon). Any ideas or advice on what to do as I am feeling awful 😞
