Hi can I have a private post please?

The other day I noticed my son (20months) had a black mark on the back of his tounge, I put my finger in his mouth to see if it would come off, which it didn’t, it didn’t feel lumpy it was smooth. Anyways it was wondering if anyone could help as to explaining what it was/is? I brush his teeth twice a day so don’t understand why he has it, Will phone the docs Monday morning for an appointment but I’m worrying over it as I googled and it stated it could be mouth deiseas or even cancer!! Please help!! It’s very similar to the photo attached (did try getting a photo but he wouldn’t keep still) but it’s just black no other colours! Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
