Hi can I have a private post please.
Where do I start last year when my baby was newborn social services got involved because my partners flat was unsuitable for her to visit. An assessment started which also explored concerns about his mental health. Worried I decided to stop contact with dad until the case was closed. This has caused a lot of issues. A few months ago after a disagreement he walked off heatedly with our daughter and it was logged with the police. We have now split up and are expecting our second child. Since the split he’s bombarding me with horrible messages switching between taking me to court and wanting nothing to do with us. As I can’t trust him because of what he’s been saying to me over messages I’ve decided to stop contact again as I think it’s best to go through court so he can’t take her ( as he’s on her birth certificate ) to get back at me. He has never supported us financially and has caused so much stress during my pregnancies. He will only be happy with 50/50 contact yet he doesn’t has a suitable house to have her at and not the financial capabilities. Do you think I’m best going through court in this situation? Sorry for the long post.
