Hi need advise don’t no whether I’m being to sensitive and whether any other ladies wud agree.
Me and my boyfriend of 6 years have 2 children and very rarely get a night out together without the children…we were having a convo about going out and he said he always has a better time with his mates rather than me which hurt my feeling but he said I bet you ask any man they much prefer to go somewhere with there misses?? Does anyone think I’m being sensitive or is this actually the case?

Yea unfortunately we don’t have time to ever go out which is horrible, but we made plans to go to a festival next month and he kinda used that and said ask anyone wud they rather go there with there mates or there girlfriend which was horrible as it’s left me feeling like he doesn’t want me to go and I was really looking forward to it
I think your being a bit sensitive, me and hubby very rarely have date nights which are great when we get them, we very occasionally go out together for a night out (pub etc) which are great, other times I go out or he go out which is great 😂 (makes it sound like we’re out all the time we’re not 😢, had maybe 4 date nights and I’ve been out once, he goes out one a week to exercise) what I’m saying is why shouldn’t he enjoy his mates company? I really wouldn’t take it to heart I think it’s just a matter of u have different people for different activities..
Id say ur being sensitive but its understandable.. Personally i think most men do prefer going out with their mates, me and my hubby are as relaxed as can be around each other but a night out with the girls is more fun and i know he prefers a night out with the lads.. I wouldnt take it to heart too much hun.. Hearing him say it would hurt though.. And im positive id feel upset too but just brush it off x
That is naughty on his behalf.. But men are so insensitive at times.. How about you compromise, both go with ur mates then meet up a little later maybe? Have you spoke to him about how it made you feel? x
I’d rather go out wit my girl mates than go out wit my fella, I know that sounds bad, but it just isn’t the same as getting the girls together for a night out! Me and my fella do go out together, just not clubbing or anything!
My oh goes darts nearly every week I go with him sometimes & I try to go out with the girls when I can , my oh & myself have date night once a month / every 6 weeks aswell x
He is a actual numpty my fella prefers going out with me, not that we do often, id be upset if my fella said that to me. It’s okay to want to go out with your mates but you have to set aside time just the two of you, I know it’s hard when kids are involved me and my fella haven’t actually been out since march but we try and make time just to spend time together weather it is a takeaway, a movie or going out x
But who does he prefer a night cosied up on the sofa hun ?? Thats what matters …x
Me an my fella spend all the time going out with our children weve been out twice just us in 4 years
You need that balance of date nights together and nights with friends x
