Hi could I have a private post please?
Just wondering if there’s any mummy’s in the same boat as me….
Basically my 2 year old is the most loving child ever.. 90% of the time but she is an absolute terror for me. She smacks me bites me screams at me.. demands and most of the time just won’t do as I ask her etc..
she is so good for her dad and although she tries it on with other people she listens to them when they raise their voice.
Whatever I do she just gets worse for me.. I have tried staying calm.. naughty step.. tapping hand (if it’s something that will hurt her) tried shouting and tried ignoring her bad behaviour
I feel like an absolute failure! I just sit and cry most of the time!
She tells me she loves me and kisses me all the time I just can’t get my head round why she treats me like dirt!
The worst bit is i feel so nasty for disciplining or shouting at her.. which upsets me more!!
This is only a recent thing.. I’m hoping it’s just a phase but I’m getting more and more angry with myself that i can’t stop her..
Just wanting basically to ask what else I could try.. or to know I’m not the only one??

(Please don’t be nasty about the techniques I have tried.. I’m at my wits end and really don’t want any more upset)
