Hi can I have ppp. My daughter is 3 nearly 4 and her sister is nearly 2. Since she was two and a half I’ve struggled a fair bit with her behaviour due to domestic issues with her father. We left and I’ve been a single mum since, we went through a long tough road to get through her agressive behaviour including child therapy and for the past 6 months she’s been back to my happy go lucky cheeky little girl. Fast forward to now and we have a new issue … Lying. She’s lies about everything and will blame it on her younger sister even if I watched her say throw a toy she will still lie and it takes ages to get her to tell the truth. I’ve tried explaining that lying is not nice and liars gets in more trouble than those who tell who truth she seems to understand this by repeating it to me as part of a separate conversation where she will bring up the topic but still chooses to lie in the moment. Has anyone dealt with this before and have any tips on how I can get her out of this. I hate lying but I also hate shouting at her but it makes my bloody boil and I can’t understand why she’s doing it so I can’t get to the bottom of it. Help! Please! Tia xx
